Monday to Thursday - £24 per hour
Friday/Saturday/Sunday - £27.50 per hour
A caretaker's fee is also required to be paid for the opening and closing of the hall which is £10 for bookings ending before 6 pm and £20 after 6pm.
Additionally a security deposit fee is payable (£100 before 6pm and £200 after 6pm).
The hire period needs to include time for setting up and cleaning afterwards.
Any music needs to be turned off and the hall vacated by 10 pm Monday-Thursday and Sundays. Music on Friday and Saturday nights is permitted until 11.00 pm and the hall needs to be vacated by 11.30pm. Please leave enough time after your function to put away the tables and chairs, clear any rubbish and sweep the floors. Any time required to set up the hall before and clear away afterwards must be included within your hire period.
Light decorations such as balloons may be used attached to the wall using a non-marking method, such as blue tac or white tac and must be removed after the function. Any form of confetti is not allowed. Any time required for decoration must be included within your hire period.
Yes, children’s parties under 13 are allowed. We regret we do not hold a licence to hire for parties for 13 to 21 year olds.
No due to safety reasons.
BBQs (including spit roasts) and any form of cooking using a naked flame are not allowed inside or outside of the hall.
No, candles are not allowed due to fire risks. The only exception is for candles on a birthday cake.
No, there is no licence to sell alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks for your own consumption.
No. Hirers must leave the hall tidy, the floor swept and clear of rubbish after your function. The tables and chairs must be put away. Please note there are several slight variations to the style of chairs and they must be stacked with the same type of chair to prevent them toppling over. The car park must also be left clear of rubbish.
Yes you can but the hirer must be on site for the duration of the hire period.
There is a limited amount of crockery and cutlery but for large functions you will need to supply your own.
